O God, your Spirit is upon us. Through Jesus you have graced us to share the good news of your love to one another, to our community, and to the world.  We know that being your people, followers of Jesus Christ, calls for courage, discernment, trust, and obedience. When we are uncertain, reveal a vision; when we are passive, light a fire; when we are tempted, remind us of your presence.  Hold us in your love, wrap us with assurance, and infuse us with determination.  Use us so that all the world may see your love in us by the way we love one another. Amen.
