Palm Sunday Prayer

We greet you, Jesus, with shouts of “Hosanna” as we join the joyful procession,

claiming victory for our earthly kingdom.

By your Spirit, awaken us to the fulfillment of your desire.

May we be open to the humble ways you enter our lives,

rejoicing in your truth and promise of peace.

Bring us alongside you,

to experience the challenge of the coming days

as well as the final victory that will turn death into triumph.

As we enter your gates, God,

we come desiring to serve your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
