Holy God, open the places of conflict in my life and bring in your infinite wisdom.  Open my eyes, too.  I confess I do not always see the other side.  My hearing can be faulty, too.  As I receive your grace, guide my will and my ways to be closer to yours.  Where I can, help me to be a bridge builder, with outstretched arms of love that invite the opposition to find holy space in the gap in between.  When I need to, encourage me to step from my comfortable places, to challenge, encourage, invite, and engage.  I desire to embody the Spirit of one who journeys with hope.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.
