Each of these characteristics might be said of people who are genuine. As a leader, consider how these characteristics apply to your listening.

If you’re always distracted by your phone alerts while talking with someone in real life, perhaps it’s time to put your phone on silent. Or maybe you interrupt or talk over people. It may be time to tend to a little self-control.
