A Broken Pencil
“Trying to write with a broken pencil is pointless.” However, trying to write from the brokenness of your life can be an act of love.
From the broken places of your life, practice loving one another. Your mistakes, hurts, heartaches and shattered dreams allow you to write about what hurts. More importantly, they can give you a sharpened sense of what it means to practice love. Practice, after all, is what sharpens us.
What broken place in your life gives you a sharpened sense of what it means to love? Today, practice real love.
“My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love.” 1 John 3:18
