31 Days of Prayer
Day 3
January 29, 2019
Read Matthew 6:9-13
Today, let’s ask God to help us see and experience God’s holiness and God’s distinctiveness in the people around us. As we become aware of God’s presence, let us respond with, “Our Father, who art in heaven, holy be your name.”
Prayer for Today:
O God, teach us to walk in trust, honesty, and commitment. Let the security of your divine presence overcome the fear we have created for ourselves. By our grace, give us the courage to speak your truth with our leaders as they prepare to lead our church into the future. We offer ourselves to you in the name of Jesus. Holy be your name. Amen
A Few Reminders
Thank you for participating in this 31-day prayer journey. Our journey will include opportunities to read and reflect on the scriptures as we pray specifically for the special General Conference, for the leaders of our denomination, and for the delegates who have represented us. As we pray together, we will become more who God has created us to be.
Below are the delegates from the West Ohio Conference. Let us pray for each of them every day. It will be through our prayers that they become more who God created them to be.
Thank you for taking this journey with us.
