31 Days of Prayer
Day 15
February 10, 2019
To pray without ceasing is to live in alignment with God. Alignment with God means to have an awareness of yourself, of others, of creation, and of God. That alignment, that awareness, is to be fully alive.
Today, let us open our minds and hearts to the possibilities of being fully alive to God’s presence in ourselves, in the people around us, and in the places we find ourselves.
Prayer for Today:
O God, help us become fully alive to your presence today. Make us aware of your presence in the work of the General Conference. We hold before those who will be representing us. Fill them with your holy presence so that each of them might be fully alive to your work in their midst. We place them and ourselves into your hands, all for your glory as we come alive in the presence of Jesus. Amen.
A Few Reminders
Thank you for participating in this 31-day prayer journey. Our journey will include opportunities to read and reflect on the scriptures as we pray specifically for the special General Conference, for the leaders of our denomination, and for the delegates who have represented us. As we pray together, we will become more who God has created us to be.
Below are the delegates from the West Ohio Conference. Let us pray for each of them every day. It will be through our prayers that they become more who God created them to be.
Thank you for taking this journey with us.
